Street Lighting Supervisor

Our construction client is currently recruiting for an experienced Street Lighting Supervisor to support the delivery of high-quality street lighting services across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

As a Street Lighting Supervisor, you will take full responsibility for supervising site activities and resources, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, productivity, and performance while contributing to long-term service quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise street lighting works on-site, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

* Plan, programme, and support delivery of works, including input into annual programmes and budgets

* Lead, motivate, and manage teams of operatives to achieve high performance and a positive site culture

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations

* Monitor costs, productivity, and commercial performance, including P&L awareness

* Liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams

* Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and all relevant legislation

Essential Skills & Experience

* Proven experience supervising Street Lighting projects (term service contracts desirable)

* Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating site teams

* Results-driven with a track record of on-time, on-budget delivery

* Experience with programming, scheduling, and budget input

* Commercial awareness with understanding of cost control and P&L

* Knowledge of NEC Contracts (desirable)

* Strong understanding of health & safety legislation, including CDM 2015

* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

* Good IT skills

Qualifications & Requirements

* SSSTS Card

* CSCS Card and CITB SMSTS

* Full UK Driving Licence
