Our client, a respected building services contractor based in Chichester, is expanding their project delivery team and seeking a Junior Mechanical Project Manager to join them. This is an ideal role for someone who's ready to step up, take ownership of projects, and grow into a fully autonomous Project Manager with the guidance of an experienced senior leadership team.

, delivering high‑quality mechanical installations across the South.
- Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre‑construction through to handover
- Assist in managing project programmes, budgets, and resource allocation
- Work closely with senior project managers to develop your technical and commercial understanding
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Attend site meetings, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Support procurement activities and manage materials and equipment deliveries
- Contribute to project reporting, risk management, and quality assurance processes
- Experience in mechanical building services, ideally within a contracting environment
- Currently working as an Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager, or Project Engineer - or already a Project Manager who would benefit from additional support
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, public health, etc.)
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships
- Organised, proactive, and eager to develop into a fully independent Project Manager
- Full UK driving licence
- £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience
- Clear progression path into a full Project Manager role
