Head of Events

London (3 days onsite) | £70,000 + 10% bonus

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Events to lead and scale the events function at an established B2B publication serving the Asian business community. This is a senior, high‑impact role for an established events leader who thrives in a small business environment. You will shape teams, processes and structures that drive growth, quality and profitability.

• Lead the overall strategy, planning and delivery of the events portfolio
• Build, manage and develop a high‑performing events team
• Design and implement scalable processes, systems and best practices
• Own event P&Ls, budgets and commercial performance
• Educate and influence stakeholders on the value and performance of events
• Maintain high production standards and premium delegate experiences
• Identify opportunities for growth, innovation and new event formats

• Proven experience at Head of Events / Senior Events Manager level
• Strong background delivering awards, galas and conferences
• Experience working in a small or medium‑size business environment
• Comfortable building teams, processes and structure
• Commercially strong with excellent organisational skills
• Ambitious, persuasive and able to influence at senior level

• £70,000 salary + 10% bonus
• Hybrid working: 3 days onsite in London
• High autonomy in a growing, entrepreneurial organisation
