Position: Administration Team Leader/ Clerical Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the clerical team (currently 9 staff).
  • Coordinate booking of a range of cardiac and respiratory diagnostics.
  • Track and flex lists based on capacity vs demand.
  • Understand and report long waiting lists and manage potential breaches.
  • Report DM01 diagnostic waits in line with the administrative services manager.
  • Line manage, appraise, and address staff concerns.
  • Produce rotas in line with staffing availability.
  • Deputise in the absence of the administrative services manager.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a band 3 clerical officer and demonstrated team leadership.
  • NVQ3 or A level (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a supervisory role and training staff.
  • Proficient IT skills; ECDL certificate desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to high standard work and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Current employee of a Local Authority Approved Support Services (LAASP) organisation (optional).
Desirable
  • Supervisory Course.
  • ECDL certificate.
  • Demonstrable experience in admin role, supervising staff and training.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork ability.
  • High work standard and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in meeting deadlines and time management.
Additional Information

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people and must undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and associated regulations.
