Area Sales Manager North of England and Scotland

DescriptionAs an Area Sales Manager for our territory North of England & Scotland. You will be responsible for growing Align’s business, Invisalign and iTero, with GP as customers in your designated area. With your ability and experience to lead a team, leading their thinking and earning their support through initiative, action and drive for results you make a mark.
Role expectations- Manage, coach, and motivate an assigned team of Territory Managers and Account Representatives
- Provide leadership and coaching your team in one-on-one and group settings
- Support and guide your team in developing sales plans and strategies to reach their targets
- Support and enable growth mindset
- Analyze data an identify opportunities to drive growth
- Ensure that your team addresses customers with specific action plans and customer centric mindset
- Co-travel with your team members and visit customers
- Provide training in product knowledge, customer segmentation and selling skills
- Identify and resolve customer concerns when required
- Hire high caliber Territory Managers to keep leading a high-performance team
- Balance short term operational needs with long term organizational needs of the business
- Regularly report sales performance of your team to the General Manager
- Collaborate with a network of business leader colleagues to develop new ideas how to bring sales forward
Get involved in projects outside of your regular scope of work
- Academic Background in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
- The ideal candidate is residing in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield
- Very strong insights & business analytical skills, experience in budget management and planning
- Minimum of 7-10 years sales experience with at least 3-5 of those managing a sales team
- Preferably experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
- Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
- An advocate for digital products and workflows to help growing our customers
- Advanced presentation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Full, clean driving license
