Job Description & How to Apply Below
One of the UK’s leading Property Consultancies is actively recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to join their established Liverpool office.
My client is one of the most respected Consultancies in the UK, with a strong network of offices across the country as well as overseas. They have an excellent reputation in the market and are currently delivering some of the UK’s most significant Energy sector developments. These include major power infrastructure projects, energy generation facilities, utilities programmes, and complex engineering schemes for both public and private sector clients.
The company offers a dynamic and collaborative environment, giving Assistant Project Managers the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading professionals on projects of significant national and economic importance.
THE POSITION
They are actively seeking an Assistant Project Manager with around 3–4 years’ experience to support the delivery of Energy sector projects from inception through to completion. The successful Assistant Project Manager will work closely with Senior Project Managers, assisting with client management, project coordination, design and construction delivery, and the successful completion of key infrastructure projects across the North West and wider UK.
Project values typically range from £1 million up to £100 million. While the immediate focus will be on the Energy sector, there will also be opportunities to gain experience across Nuclear, Utilities, and Rail projects as the business continues to grow.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful Assistant Project Manager must:
Hold a relevant degree (e.g., Project Management, Construction Management, or related field)
Have approximately 3–4 years' experience working within a Consultancy environment
Have a strong background in Property, Infrastructure, or Engineering projects
Have experience working within the Energy, Nuclear, Utilities, or Rail sector
Be confident supporting projects from inception through to completion
Possess excellent communication, organisational, and client-facing skills
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY
Opportunity to work on some of the UK’s most significant Energy and Infrastructure projects
Clear career progression with opportunities to advance to Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and beyond
Work for a market-leading Consultancy with an outstanding reputation and client base
Supportive company culture with excellent senior management and professional development
