The firm is expanding its payroll offering and is looking for a Senior Payroll Manager to lead that growth — building out the team, developing the client base, and shaping the department's strategy from an early stage. Senior Payroll Manager – Responsibilities Payroll Operations & Compliance Oversee weekly and monthly payroll processing across the client base Ensure full compliance with UK tax regulations, RTI, and year-end submissions Handle any complex payroll queries promptly and accurately Team Leadership Supervise, train and mentor payroll staff (several of whom work remotely) Recruit into the team as it grows Business Growth Contribute to the department's growth strategy Support business development activity, including content for marketing/social channels Senior Payroll Manager – Requirements Proven payroll management experience, ideally CIPP-qualified or equivalent Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation and RTI requirements Experience managing or mentoring a payroll team, including remote staff Experienced in an outsourced/bureau payroll environment Confident communicator, capable of building trust with clients Commercially minded, with an interest in helping grow the service line Senior Payroll Manager – Benefits Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience) Benefits:
