Liverpool City Council is transforming Adult Social Care — and digital is at the heart of that change. We’re looking for an ambitious, collaborative and user‑centred digital manager to shape and deliver a portfolio of projects that improve how people access information, advice and guidance (IAG) across the city. We are seeking a skilled project manager with a proven track record of working in partnership with NHS, voluntary sector, education, or local government services of driving how digital platforms support access to local services and improve outcomes.
You will be part of a team transforming ICT and digital systems, working closely with commissioners, Public Health, Neighbourhoods, stakeholders and people with lived experience to drive forward an improved IAG offer which delivers our ambition to prevent, reduce and delay the need for formal care and support. You’ll join a forward‑thinking Directorate that values innovation, collaboration and community impact. This role is fixed term for 2 years to shape and deliver a portfolio of projects that improve how people access information, advice and guidance (IAG). To deliver a specific improvement project.
The role:As a Community Information, Advice & Guidance Project Manager you will develop, provide systems leadership and co‑ordinate the delivery of an Adult Social Care Information, Advice and Guidance programme to continuous improvement of public‑facing web and microsites using inclusive service design principles and continuous user feedback. You will ensure accessibility, usability, and alignment with local priorities, including platform selection, design and implementation, social media setup, digital branding, and content creation.
As a Community Information, Advice & Guidance Project Manager you will act as product owner for key digital platforms, including the Live Well Directory and upcoming planned web and microsites, via setting vision and goals, prioritising development based on user and partner needs, gathering feedback, and ensuring continuous alignment with the Council’s strategic aims.
You will adopt a strong project management approach to shaping and defining the projects; ensuring there is clear agreement about the objectives, required outcomes, business impacts, delivery approach and sequence of initiatives to be delivered from transition state through to project delivery schedule.
