INTERNAL SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting 6 Month opportunity for a temporary Team Leader secondment at Mersey Ferries.
This opportunity is ideal for either an existing Team Leader looking to broaden their experience, or someone looking to step up into their first leadership role and develop their management skills in a busy operational environment. With the introduction of the new Royal Daffodil approaching, this is a fantastic time to be part of the Mersey Ferries team.
Working alongside our current Team Leaders, you will gain valuable experience leading teams, delivering excellent customer service, supporting the safe and efficient operation of our terminals, and helping to manage day-to-day operational challenges. The full responsibilities and requirements are detailed in the attached role description.
We are looking for someone who consistently demonstrates the right behaviours, has a customer-first mindset, understands the importance of health and safety, and can support and motivate colleagues to deliver the highest standards of service. Previous experience within Mersey Ferries and knowledge of our operation would be advantageous but is not essential.
The role is full-time, based across Pier Head and Seacombe, with shifts between 06:45 and 20:00
, including some later finishes to support event cruises and matchday shuttle services.
Training, support and development will be provided throughout the secondment.
Informal interviews: 23rd and 24th September.
