As our Service Leader, you'll have the exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new service, leading a team of vocational services Support Workers to deliver outstanding support and life-changing outcomes for the people we work alongside.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced people manager, team leader or employability professional looking to broaden their career within a national charity that is committed to innovation, inclusion and making a genuine difference.
The role is primarily delivered Monday to Friday, offering a consistent working pattern, although flexibility will occasionally be required to support service delivery, stakeholder engagement and the needs of the people we support.

As Service Leader, you’ll lead the delivery of a high-quality supported employment service, ensuring people receive personalised support to achieve their employment aspirations and sustain meaningful paid work.
You will oversee a team of vocational services Support Workers, supporting people with disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, neurodiverse conditions, mental health challenges and a range of complex life circumstances to achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities Will Include- Leading, motivating and developing your team to deliver exceptional person-centred support.
- Driving performance, quality and compliance in line with Supported Employment quality standards and fidelity models.
- Supporting team members through coaching, supervision, performance management and professional development.
- Developing strong relationships with employers, commissioners, community organisations and local stakeholders.
- Creating opportunities for people to access sustainable employment aligned with their skills, interests and aspirations.
- Ensuring robust case management, accurate record keeping and achievement of key performance targets.
- Monitoring quality and continuous improvement activities to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Building effective referral pathways and partnership networks across the Liverpool City Region.
- Promoting inclusive employment practices and helping employers create accessible and supportive workplaces.
- Managing operational performance while contributing to the growth and development of the wider Vocational Services offer.
This is a community-based leadership role and will involve travelling across the Liverpool City Region to support staff, partner organisations, employers and the people we support.
