Location: Liverpool

Salary: Competitive (plus additional pay for weekend on-call)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (Flexibility required)

RGH-Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a residential children's home in Liverpool. This role is pivotal in providing a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for young people to achieve their full potential.

As the Registered Manager, you will hold overall responsibility for the leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the home. Your primary focus will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality care that meets Ofsted’s  Good  or  Outstanding standards.

• Leadership: Managing day-to-day operations and fostering a positive, inclusive culture for both staff and children.
• Safeguarding: Acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and ensuring all children are protected from harm.
• Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
• Staff Development: Recruiting, supervising, and mentoring a professional care team.
• Outcome Focus: Promoting positive outcomes for children in education, health, and independence.

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong background in regulated children's residential care and meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it), with a minimum of a Level 3 or 4 already achieved.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in regulated children's residential care within the last 5 years.
• Management: A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or management role within a children’s residential setting.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Ofsted frameworks and safeguarding procedures.
• Travel: A full UK Driving License is essential.
