The role:
- The role of the ICT project manager will be to provide the ICT & Digital department with the resource required to implement transformational programmes of work across the LCC estate
- Delivery of complex ICT & Digital solutions across the department and LCC estate to defined cost, quality and delivery parameters in line with project management principles
- In the role of ICT Project Manager, you are expected to interpret customer requirements, identify project objectives and confirm client expectations. Specifying project scope, producing and maintaining detailed plans, risks and issues logs and agreeing budgets with clients. Effectively leading internal and external work groups to deliver project objectives
- The role of ICT Project Manager is key to the delivery of transformational change across the ICT & Digital department and wider LCC estate
- Your demonstrable knowledge as a qualified project manager should include a good knowledge of Local Government Services. A detailed understanding of the Agile or Prince2 project management framework and a have a track record of project delivery
- The role of ICT Project Manager requires an individual with drive and passion to make a difference. Someone who wants to work in a dynamic workplace to be, where no two days are the same and the work is always interesting and varied. Their goal is simply to provide the best possible service to the staff and Public of Liverpool City Council by implementing the most appropriate technology solutions for the City
