Climate change
• Climate change refers to long‑term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.
As our Energy, Water & Resources Advisory team continues to grow, we’re looking for Project Managers to join our Liverpool or Manchester offices. You’ll work with clients, engineers, environmental specialists and consultants to plan and deliver complex infrastructure projects across the North West and beyond.
From AMP8 investment programmes and climate resilience initiatives to renewable energy and nature‑based solutions, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that have a lasting impact on communities, the environment and the wider economy.
The role will involve managing project scope, programme, risk, change and reporting throughout the project lifecycle, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting effective stakeholder engagement, project assurance and performance monitoring. You’ll also contribute to financial management, forecasting and reporting, working closely with clients, programme leaders and senior stakeholders.
You’ll have opportunities to support digital delivery, data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement, while ensuring projects meet Arup’s quality, safety and sustainability standards.
In return, you’ll gain exposure to nationally significant projects, structured professional development and a clear pathway towards Senior Project Manager responsibilities, while broadening your experience across project delivery, governance and advisory services.
