We're delighted to be partnering with a large, market-leading business to recruit an experienced Financial Controller for a key leadership role within a high-performing finance function.
Reporting directly to senior finance leadership, you will take responsibility for managing a small finance team and oversee the delivery of accurate, timely financial reporting within a highly controlled environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys leading teams, driving continuous improvement and maintaining strong financial governance.
Aplicants much have experience of internal controls and managing a team.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
- Managing and developing a multi-functional finance team, driving performance and capability across the department.
- Ensuring robust financial controls, governance and compliance procedures are maintained across the business.
- Acting as a key owner of internal control frameworks, ensuring controls are performed accurately and effectively.
