Position: Maintenance Shift Cover (Contract)
Maintenance Engineer (Shift Cover) - Liverpool
Rates: £25.00-£27.00 Per Hour (PAYE) / £35.00-£40.00ph (Umbrella/Outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine faults efficiently using technical expertise and available documentation.
Build strong working relationships with operational teams to maximize performance and reduce downtime.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis to improve machine reliability and support continuous improvement efforts.
Maintain and repair machinery to high standards, proactively reducing downtime and enhancing departmental efficiency.

Ideal Candidate:

Ideally, you will have completed a Time-served Engineering Apprenticeship.
Experience in FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
Strong competence in fault-finding on 3-Phase Electrical Systems, Drives, I/O PLCs, as well as Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
