Position: Pipefitter Fabricator (Contract, Temporary)
Location: Huyton

PIPE FITTER / PIPE FABRICATOR (SHOP BIAS) – KNOWSLEY (LOCAL ONLY)

Ambitek is currently recruiting experienced Pipe Fitters / Pipe Fabricators on behalf of our client based in Knowsley. This is a workshop-based role focused on pipe fabrication and the manufacture of pipe brackets for tanks.

⚠️ This position is for local candidates only – no accommodation/digs provided.
⚠️ You must be able to pass a pipe fabrication trade test.

Key Responsibilities

* Fabrication of precision pipe brackets to meet client and industry standards

* Measuring, assembling and fabricating pipework to tight tolerances

* Reading and working from technical drawings

* Maintaining high standards of quality and safe working practices

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter / Pipe Fabricator (shop-based preferred)

* Strong fabrication skills with excellent attention to detail

* Valid CCNSG or CSCS card

* Must be local to the Liverpool/Knowsley area

Rates (CIS or Umbrella)

* Monday – Friday (first 8.5 hours): £26.25/hr

* After 8.5 hours in week + first 5 hours Saturday: £36.75/hr (OT1)

* After 5 hours Saturday + all Sunday: £47.25/hr (OT2)

Trade Test

You must be able to measure and tack your own spools as part of the trade test using TIG.
