Multi Skilled Operator

HH Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Machine Operator to work on behalf of our client in Liverpool. Our Client are a well known engineering, manufacturer with locations across the UK and Europe. The role of the Multi Skilled Machine Operator will be to set up and operate a copper extrusion and tapping production line. This position plays a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

This is a practical, hands-on role requiring precision, reliability, and strong attention to detail. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues to maintain high production and quality standards. Full on-the-job training will be provided to support ongoing development within the role. The overall objective is to maximise productivity while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities Set up machinery to initiate production cycles Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, feed rates) Load raw materials and components into machines Monitor production processes and resolve operational issues during shifts Inspect finished products to identify and rectify machine-related faults Accurately record production data, including approved and defective items Follow health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE
