Base pay rangeThe Buyer / Planner role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department requires expertise in managing purchasing and planning processes for an industrial / manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient coordination of materials and resources to meet production demands in Bromborough.

Description- Manage procurement and planning activities to support production operations effectively.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and optimise stock levels.
- Utilise Navision (preferred), SAP, or Oracle systems for efficient planning and purchasing processes.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement strategies with production schedules.
- Prepare and analyse reports to improve procurement and planning efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
A successful Buyer / Planner should have:
- Experience in procurement and supply chain within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in using Navision (preferred), SAP, or Oracle systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Analytical skills to assess and improve procurement processes.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum.
- 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays.
