Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer Duties This is a hands-on position supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation where you'll be trusted to diagnose faults, solve problems and help improve equipment performance. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site Fault finding on Siemens S7 PLC-controlled equipment Maintaining and improving blow film extrusion lines and associated machinery Supporting continuous flow production equipment to minimise downtime Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and implementing effective solutions Working closely with production teams to maintain output and efficiency Contributing to ongoing reliability and continuous improvement initiatives Participating in a 1-in-3 weekend call-out rota You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on site performance.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing Multi-skilled background with an electrical bias (approximately 60/40) Strong electrical fault-finding abilities Experience working with Siemens S7 PLCs from a fault-finding perspective Exposure to continuous process or high-volume production environments A proactive approach to maintenance and problem solving Someone who takes ownership of their work and prides themselves on doing the job properly

Experience with blow film extrusion equipment would be advantageous, although engineers from similar manufacturing environments are encouraged to apply.
