* Flexible working requests considered based on business needs.## Introduction This is a hands-on CNC milling role, working on one-off and small batch components for demanding sectors. The role would suit an experienced CNC Miller who is confident programming, setting, and operating vertical and horizontal machining centres. You will be a key part of an established subcontract precision engineering business.## Responsibilities
* Program, set, and operate CNC vertical and horizontal machining centres.
* Work from detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Machine one-off and small batch components across a range of materials.
* Select tooling, prove programs, and complete finish machining operations.
* Use Fanuc controls, Manual Guide, ISO input, or offline programming where required.
* Work to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and maintain high inspection standards.## Requirements
* Previous experience as a CNC Miller, Programmer Setter Operator, or similar.
* Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls.
* Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
* Experience machining materials such as stainless steel, alloy steels, or exotic metals.
* Strong attention to detail, communication, and planning skills.
* Right to work in the UK and UK residency required.
* Experience with vertical or horizontal machining centres, and 4th axis programming.##
