Manufacturing ​/ Production Operator, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

PE Global is recruiting Operators for our pharmaceutical client based in Speke, Liverpool. This is an opportunity to join our pharmaceutical client, with an initial 6-month contract and strong potential for extension.

Pay Rate: £15.50 p/hr for day shift and £17.00 p/hr for nights shift role. This rate then increases by £1 after probation / training which takes approx. 6 months.

Shift Pattern:

• 12-hour rotating shift: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 6 Days Off

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and complete assigned production tasks in accordance with approved procedures.
• Follow Batch Records, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and GMP requirements at all times.
• Accurately record production activities, observations, and data in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
• Carry out basic equipment checks, cleaning, and housekeeping activities to maintain compliance.
• Perform in-process quality checks and promptly report any deviations or abnormalities.
• Support production line start-ups, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Handle materials safely, ensuring correct identification, labelling, and movement.
• Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures, including the correct use of PPE.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months' experience working within a GMP or other regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to commute to the Speke site within approximately 30 minutes.
• Available to start within one month's notice.
• Comfortable working rotating shift patterns where applicable.
