We are seeking Bakery Operatives to join our production team.
We are looking for motivated and hardworking Bakery Operatives to join our fast-paced production team in Liverpool. If you enjoy hands-on work and want to build a career in food manufacturing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
This role operates 12-hour rotating shifts, on a varied shift pattern, including night work and weekends. These positions are on a 6 month fixed contract.
Key AccountabilitiesAs a Bakery Operative, you will play a key role in producing high-quality bakery products within a busy and highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Engage in the Safety First culture and compliance with AB internal policies and procedures
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and housekeeping
- Monitor product quality and consistency
- Support the efficient operation of production lines
- Take part in training and development activities, including 1-to-1 sessions
This is a physically demanding role in a fat-paced factory enviroment, so resilience, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
The Right Person- Good awareness of Health, Safety and Food Safety
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills, including record keeping and following instructions
- A positive can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn
Advantageous
- Understanding and application of food hygiene/GMP/(ABSS standards)
- Understanding of baking process
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate IOSH or equivalent
