Senior Accountant - Charities & Not--Profit

Adele Carr Recruitment is pleased to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in Liverpool seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

This role focuses entirely on charity and not-for-profit organisations
, including some of the region's largest and most complex audited entities. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to deepen their expertise within a highly respected specialist division.

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for a wide range of charity and not-for-profit organisations.
• Work in line with Charities SORP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Support the audit process for large NFP clients, liaising with audit teams where required.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports for NFP clients when needed.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing sector-specific insight and advice.
• Maintain strong working relationships and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Contribute to best practice and process improvements within the charity/NFP team.

• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist (QBE considered with strong sector experience).
• Hands-on experience in charities and/or not-for-profit accounting
  .
• Strong technical knowledge of Charities SORP.
• Experience working with large, audited charity/NFP organisations is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.
• Passionate about the charity/NFP sector and keen to continue developing within it.
