Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital is a leading healthcare facility committed to delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a Registered Community Health Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse healthcare settings. This role involves assessing patient needs, administering treatments, supporting recovery, and promoting health education while ensuring adherence to professional standards and hospital policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and progress.
  • Provide direct patient care including wound management, IV therapy, and hygiene assistance.
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide immediate interventions when required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent diploma.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
    Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Clinical experience in hospital or community healthcare settings is advantageous.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Compassion, empathy, and emotional resilience.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and electronic health records (EHR).
