Bank Mobile Research Nurse – Bolton & Manchester – Paediatric Nurse

Zero Hour Casual Contract

£30 to £35 per hour, inclusive of travel time and patient interaction compensation. Mileage reimbursement and travel expense reimbursement available.

Bolton & Manchester area.

As a Mobile Research Nurse, you will ensure the successful execution of research studies by administering investigational medications/products, conducting patient assessments, collecting vital information, and adhering to study protocols with accuracy and ethics. Your nursing care and supportive role maintain compliance and safeguard study participants.

• Accountable for the delivery of high-quality clinical care to participants, ensuring compliance with each study’s protocol.
• Administer investigational medications/products as needed and perform patient assessments to determine side effects, notifying the Principal Investigator of findings/issues.
• Perform medical tests outlined in the protocol, including vital signs, specimen collection, electrocardiograms, and process and ship specimens per protocol.
• Provide patient education and medical information to study patients ensuring understanding of proper medication dosage, administration, and disease treatment.
• Adhere to clinical research policies to ensure ethical conduct and protect vulnerable populations.
• Communicate effectively, fostering open and trusting relationships.

• Relevant Nurse Licensure.
• CH‑GCP Certificate.
• Graduate from an accredited BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification acute care experience.
• Clinical research experience desirable.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience and knowledge of working in clinical research trials with ICH‑GCP (Good Clinical Practice) – training can be provided.
• Good basic IT skills, using mobile devices and Microsoft systems.
• Training in handling and transport of hazardous substances – training can be provided.
• A flexible schedule is essential.
• Unencumbered driver’s licence with reliable car.
