Role Overview
Join the Cancer Nurse Specialist team in Urology within Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves delivering nurse‑led telephone assessment clinics and managing patients through Cancer Pathways, including diagnostic imaging, biopsies, diagnosis, and SMDT. This position is part of the integrated service across Aintree and Royal sites.
Responsibilities- Deliver nurse‑led telephone assessment clinics.
- Manage patients through Cancer Pathways (diagnostic imaging, biopsies, diagnosis, SMDT).
- Collaborate with the established Urological Cancer team to provide high‑quality patient care.
- Experienced Urology nurse with cancer experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and confidently work autonomously.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patients.
- Desire to improve clinical patient care and pursue continuous professional development.
- Mentoring will be provided by the current team.
