About the Role

Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic Registered Nurse looking for a new role within the Liverpool area? Then look no further! We are working one of the UK's leading independent providers of health and care services as they are looking to recruit Prison Cleared Registered General Nurses to work within their primary care team based from a prison in Liverpool.

Within your role you will be working within a busy team that offers gold standard care to the inmates within the prison. The role includes:

• nurse led clinics
• administering medication and treatments
• emergency response
• triage
• wound care
• examinations
• referrals

You must have excellent, up to date nursing knowledge along with excellent communication skills.

• Registration as an RGN
• Prison clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven track record in general nursing roles/services
• Excellent communication skills
• Up‑to‑date nursing knowledge
• First position within a prison setting considered on a case‑by‑case basis (if you have transferable skills)

We operate on a 7‑day rota working 12‑hour shifts, offering both part and full time work. Duty schedules include block bookings and ad‑hoc shifts. Shift times/patterns:

• 8am-8pm & 8pm-8am shift times

Rates:

• Midweek £29.00/h
• Weekends £30.33/h
