Clinical Leader – Day Theatres, Endoscopy

Position:
Clinical Leader (Day Theatres – Endoscopy) – Oxford Hospital.

Contract:

Permanent, Part Time, 30 hours per week. Salary up to £48,000 per annum depending on experience.

• Conduct and organize the Clinical Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre, ensuring smooth running of theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres.
• Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department (Endoscopy, General, Orthopedics, Gynae).
• Promote effective clinical risk management and governance, including safety, risk management, quality improvement and ensuring policies and procedures are followed to enhance patient care and service delivery.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques, associated equipment, audits, and equipment management.
• Support continuous growth and personal development, including opportunities such as Surgical First Assist training.

• Registered with the appropriate governing body.

• Relevant qualifications and post‑registration in surgery/anaesthetics, or as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner.
