As part of this partnership, North Bridge House Regent’s Park Prep and North Bridge House Hampstead have become Alleyn’s schools. About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and proactive School Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and wellbeing of our school community. Working closely with pupils, staff, parents, and external healthcare professionals, the successful candidate will provide high‑quality medical care, first aid, and health advice, while promoting a positive culture of wellbeing across the school.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to medical incidents and emergencies
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Managing medical supplies and medications
  • Supporting school trips and activities with appropriate risk assessments and first aid provision
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, safeguarding and data protection requirements
  • Working collaboratively with pastoral and safeguarding teams to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
  • Maintaining high standards within the medical room
  • Undertaking ongoing professional development to uphold professional registration and best practice
Who We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified and caring Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Children’s Nurse (RCN) with current NMC registration and a valid First Aid qualification, including Paediatric First Aid
  • Previous school nursing experience, or at least two years’ post‑registration experience in a paediatric, adolescent, or educational setting
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to confidently assess and respond to a wide range of health needs and medical emergencies
  • Empathetic and resilient professional with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff, and external healthcare professionals
  • Highly organised and detail‑oriented, able to manage a busy workload, maintain accurate and confidential records, and work effectively with healthcare management systems
  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection
  • A genuine passion for supporting the health, wellbeing and development of young people
  • Proactive, adaptable team player who remains calm under pressure and is committed to delivering the highest standards of care and service
