About the job Night Veterinary Surgeon | Liverpool

We are seeking a passionate Night Veterinary Surgeon with a few years of experience, specifically with an interest in emergency and critical care. If you are dedicated to providing high-quality care during night shifts, this could be the perfect role for you.

The Role:

  • Shift Pattern: 7 nights on, followed by 21 nights off, offering an excellent work-life balance.
  • Focus: Emergency and critical care, providing life‑saving treatment to pets in need during the night.
  • Experience: A few years experience in veterinary practice, ideally with an interest or background in emergency care.
  • Private Medical Insurance: From day one.
  • Health Cash Plan: Coverage for dental, physiotherapy, and optical services, plus a 24/7 Private GP service.
  • Annual Leave: 5 weeks, plus Bank Holidays, rising to 6 weeks with length of service.
  • Clinical CPD: £1,500 per year plus 3 days paid leave for personal development.
  • Training and Development: Internal CPD and access to Clinical Communities.
  • Funded Certificate Opportunities: Support for further professional qualifications.
  • Memberships Paid: VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees covered.
