Overview
An established UK operator is seeking an Acquisition Manager to support its continued growth by sourcing, acquiring and delivering new property opportunities across its operational portfolio.
This role will focus on identifying and securing sites for new developments, conversions and fit-outs, working closely with agents, developers and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead the acquisition process from initial sourcing and feasibility through to board approval and delivery, with ongoing oversight of performance post-opening.
Key responsibilities- Identifying and assessing new property opportunities for acquisition
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with agents, developers and investors
- Leading due diligence, feasibility studies and financial modelling
- Negotiating leases and purchase agreements
- Preparing business cases for senior approval
- Overseeing development through to opening and monitoring performance
- Proven experience in property acquisition and development
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills
- Good knowledge of planning and landlord & tenant law
- A property related degree (MRICS or working towards preferred)
