Right in the heart of Liverpool’s hustle and bustle, Wildwood is a 120 cover, two floor restaurant with a stunning open kitchen and a loyal, lively crowd. We serve lunch, dinner, and banging weekend brunches and in 2026, we’re taking things up a gear with a brand new bar refurbishment. This role is all about owning that bar and helping us launch it properly.

The vibeThis isn’t a ‘clipboard in the corner’ kind of job. You’ll be on the floor, in the action, leading shifts, setting the energy, and making sure guests feel the buzz the moment they walk in. We’re looking for someone who loves bars, understands restaurants, and gets a kick out of building something special from the ground up.

What you’ll be owning- Full control of the bar - standards, training, stock, service, the lot
- Being visible and vocal on the floor during busy services
- Jumping in when standards slip (and making sure they don’t again)
- Setting the tone for service style, pace, and behaviour
- Training a bar team that actually enjoys coming to work
- Stock takes, ordering, and labour control (you know the drill)
- Dreaming up new ideas, menus, and moments that bring people through the door
- A proper operator who runs a tight ship without killing the fun
- A natural leader who sets expectations and sticks to them
- Confident managing both food and drink service
- From a branded hospitality background (ideal, not essential)
- The type who loves launching ideas once the foundations are solid
- You’ll play a key role in launching a freshly refurbed bar
