We are looking to recruit a Retail Apprentice for our shop in Norris Green. We offer a permanent full‑time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.

Hours, Pay and Benefits ul> li>35 hours per week across 5 days li>Hourly pay: £10.95 per hour (minimum weekly pay of £383) li>Annual holiday: 6 weeks li>15% staff discount li>Staff benefits package li>Other benefits available /ul> What does the apprenticeship involve?

ul> li>Working in a busy shop and learning how to be a great retail assistant. li>Regular pre‑arranged visits (every 4‑6 weeks) from an assessor from our apprenticeship provider. li>Regular completion of apprenticeship coursework. li>Completion of functional skills in English and Maths (if required). li>Completion of an assessment at the end of your 12 months of training. /ul> Pay, Working Hours and Benefits (continued) p>You will earn £10.95 per hour from day one and are guaranteed 35 hours pay per week.

li>Help customers find the items they are looking for. li>Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack and leaving a good impression with a friendly thank‑you and goodbye. li>Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into our freezers and onto shelves ready for customers to buy. li>Work with the rest of your team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop clean and tidy.
/ul> You will need ul> li>A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work. li>Enjoy being busy, jumping from deliveries to tills to cleaning and stock rotation. li>Reliability, as you will be an important part of a small team, dependable on each shift. li>Some flexibility with shifts, covering for teammates when needed; rota’s planned three weeks in advance and outside commitments considered.
