We have an exciting opportunity for an established Buying Assistant (Buyers Admin Assistant) on our Own Brand Womenswear department, a 12‑month fixed‑term role on women's footwear.
You’ll report directly into the Assistant/Junior Buyer for the area, so there’s a lot of opportunity to further develop your skills and progress in the role.
About the roleDay to day you will have an understanding of the category critical path and supply chain, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function. You will be responsible for sample management and maintaining the sample library.
Key skills and behaviours for a successful BA candidate at The Very Group include: commercially aware, able to build relationships and methodical, passionate, strong communication skills, able to demonstrate initiative, enjoy problem solving and interpreting data, and have excellent attention to detail.
