Sales Advisor

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Sales Advisor who is passionate about great service.

Hours – 7.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday

As part of the role, you will be required to drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver and collect customer orders, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

• Picking and preparing orders for delivery to customer properties
• Delivering orders to customer properties
• Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
• Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
• Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
• Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

• Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
• Stellar communication and people skills
• Customer focused individual
• Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
• Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
• Full valid manual driving licence would be beneficial
