Pay

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week and may provide a reduced schedule of 12 hours if requested.

• Sun: 09:00 – 17:00
• Fri: 15:00 – 23:00
• Sat: 15:00 – 23:00

You will receive three weeks' notice of your exact shift schedule.

• Help serve shoppers better every day.
• Meet great people, learn new things and be part of a specialist, diverse team where everyone is welcome.
• Provide outstanding customer service, building rapport and ensuring guests experience a great shopping trip.
• Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering in‑store routines that meet their needs at the right time.
• Work across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly.
• Make decisions that are right for customers and help drive service, sales, reduce waste, shrink and deliver profit.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Support seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere.
• Be a brand ambassador: arrive on time, well‑presented and ready to work.
• Assist with deliveries into the store when required.

• Pass over 18 years of age.
• Must have passed the school leaver age for your country.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and work well within a team.
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills.
• Commitment to safety, service and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work a minimum of 12 hours per week (ideally 16 guaranteed hours).
