Boluda Lines UK is seeking to hire a Inside Sales Support role, a key commercial support function within the shipping and logistics sector. The position is responsible for supporting the external sales team by managing quotations, handling customer enquiries, maintaining accurate rate information, and ensuring smooth coordination between pricing, operations, and customers.

Main responsibilities
  • Sales & Commercial Support: Prepare, issue, and follow up on freight quotations, ensuring pricing, tenders, and rate structures are accurate and up to date.
  • Customer Service & Communication: Act as a primary customer contact for rate enquiries, providing service information and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate internally with Sales, Pricing, Operations, Documentation, and Finance to ensure aligned margins, smooth handovers, and resolution of rate discrepancies.
  • Administration & Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM and sales records, track quotation activity, and produce basic sales reports as needed. Ensure compliance with internal procedures and company terms & conditions, supporting administrative tasks as required.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics, with solid understanding of containerised transport and short‑sea or feeder services.
  • Strong administrative, organisational, and communication skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries under pressure.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as Incoterms, and experience using CRM or transport/dispatch systems.
  • Commercial awareness, preferably with background in pricing, quotations, or sales support within logistics.
  • Ability to work accurately, professionally, and collaboratively with internal teams and customers.
