Role Summary
The LF and OEM Specialist is responsible for driving the Discovery Cytiva OEM/Custom Lab filtration business for standard and custom ranges in the South Of England with a strong focus on new and reoccurring Custom business to our biotech, academic, pharma and industrial customers.
Key Responsibilities- You will be also responsible to work with the DAM/Discovery Sales Specialists to manage direct and indirect strategy for Lab Filtration - support, motivate, train.
- Create end user demand for both direct and indirect customers and spend at least 70% of time in the field
- Motivate, encourage and support distributors to promote Lab filtration ranges in named key accounts
- Sales negotiation and deal closure, interfacing with all key buying influencers such as direct users and decision makers
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of Cytiva and competitive products
- Actively use CRM system () to ensure transparency and total customer management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions
- Demonstrated ability for prioritization and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrated experience of presentations to promote new business growth.
- Degreed professional with experience from the field of filtration applications, products and preferably +3 years of consultative sales experience
- Willingness to travel within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays plus valid driving license
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated and proven ability for time management and prioritization, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, and working independently as well as with a team
- Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
- Experience in working with distributors preferred
