Position Overview

Luxury MICE Sales Manager reporting to the Commercial Director of Sales and Marketing. Focus on driving revenue growth across Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) and converting opportunities into profitable bookings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, secure and convert new business opportunities across meetings, conferences, residential events and exclusive‑use experiences.
  • Develop and deliver targeted sales plans to achieve budgeted MICE revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture a portfolio of key accounts, agents and local partners to influence and drive MICE business.
  • Raise awareness and demand for meeting and event spaces through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Manage and convert enquiries, RFPs and leads into confirmed business.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations and commercial negotiations to showcase venues and secure bookings.
  • Maximise revenue from every event via strategic upselling of F&B, meeting packages, accommodation and additional services.
  • Develop strong relationships with event planners, corporate bookers and agency partners to encourage repeat business.
  • Represent the business at trade shows, networking events and industry showcases to support segment growth.
Delivering Results
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs and revenue objectives.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records, forecasts and pipeline management.
  • Monitor conversion rates and identify opportunities to improve performance.
  • Provide regular sales updates, market intelligence and business insights to the leadership team.
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Partner with Revenue Management to optimise pricing strategies and maximise total revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Event Planning and Operations teams to ensure flawless event delivery and outstanding guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Sales or a related field (preferred) or relevant experience.
  • 1+ years’ experience in hotel proactive sales, MICE or a similar commercial role (essential).
  • Proven ability to generate demand and convert opportunities into revenue.
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and competitive landscape.
  • Experience driving F&B sales or event‑related revenue (highly desirable).
  • Experience working with international hotel brands such as Accor (advantageous).
  • Experience with in the luxury hospitality sector (a plus).
