Relief Security Officer

RELIEF SECURITY OFFICER – COVER LIVERPOOL, SOUTHPORT & WARRINGTON

We are seeking a Relief Security Officer to protect property, people and assets by providing security services following the site’s Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and any subsequent changes.

• Maintain compliance with policing policies, UK law and regulatory requirements.
• Execute all duties as defined in the Assignment Instructions.
• Review and suggest improvements to the Assignment Instructions.
• Wear the required front‑line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and a CCTV PSS SIA Licence at all times.
• Complete and maintain required competency training and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Use technology to achieve key work objectives and develop job knowledge.
• Report health & safety hazards promptly.
• Stay alert to threats and take appropriate action.
• Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations.
• Keep detailed notebooks for incidents and comply with the incident report process.
• Adhere to scheduled checks and report incidents to emergency services and the Communication Centre.

• Complete all required competency training.
• Attend additional training as directed by the Security Account Manager.
• Obtain and renew the front‑line licence and CCTV PSS SIA Licence.

• Previous security experience.
• SIA licence.

• Compliance with Industry and Statutory Legislation.
• Follow instructions without unnecessarily challenging authority.
• Work systematically, methodically and orderly.
