Overview

Example Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector. They require self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing contract with a local Housing Association.

  Landlord Gas Safety Checks and Central Heating Repairs as well as General Plumbing works including:
• Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and controls associated with central heating
• Isolating and capping radiator valves
• Replace/Install Radiators and pipework
• Replace 2 & 3 port control valves and wiring controls
• Upgrading of hot and cold systems pipework
• Commitment:
  Up to 5 days per week
• Contract Length:
  Ongoing
• Payment terms:
  Weekly one week in arrears

• £229.50 per day

• Work within a small radius
• Weekly pay - no chasing invoices
• Monday to Friday (part-time min. 3 days per week commitment can be accommodated)
• All appointments pre-booked via the client s PDA system.
• Full PPE and kit provided.
• Long-term ongoing contract

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
• ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• Side Van (plain or sign written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
• £2m Public Liability Insurance
• No unspent criminal convictions
