Rate: 19.00 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)

Our client is one of the fastest-growing housing associations in the Northwest, offering excellent long-term prospects within their responsive maintenance team. They are now looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their Liverpool team, working across both occupied and void social housing properties.

• All aspects of internal and external painting & decorating

• Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, patch plastering, and making good

• Applying undercoats, gloss, emulsion, varnish, and specialist coatings

• Wallpapering, stripping old wallpaper, and ensuring smooth finishes

• Minor multi-trade tasks (e.g., basic joinery, sealing, small repairs)

• Working on both planned and reactive maintenance in domestic properties

• Using PDA systems to receive, manage, and update daily work orders

• Engaging positively with tenants, delivering excellent customer service

• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with health & safety guidelines

• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating or proven equivalent experience

• Previous experience working in social housing or domestic occupied properties

• Strong communication and customer-facing skills

• Experience using PDA systems

• Full UK driving licence

• Must be clean shaven for Face Fit testing

• No more than 6 points on licence; no alcohol/drug-related bans
