Position: Supported Housing Worker

Supported Housing Worker

Location: Somerset East & Somerset (primarily Shepton Mallet and Frome)

Salary: £25,685 per year

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

  • Primarily Monday to Friday
  • Participation in a rostered shift system between 08:00 and 20:00

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Supported Housing Worker to join our team across Somerset East, primarily covering Shepton Mallet and Frome. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high‑quality support and housing management services to individuals with complex needs.

About

the Role
  • Deliver direct support and housing management services to clients
  • Create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment that promotes personal growth and sustainable move‑on
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies and stakeholders
  • Keep client records accurate, clear, and up to date
  • Track and manage referrals into the service

You will play a key role in helping individuals achieve greater independence while ensuring properties and tenancies are managed effectively.

About You
  • Has experience working with people who may have complex needs and/or challenging behaviours
  • Is confident building positive relationships with clients and partner agencies
  • Has strong organisational and record‑keeping skills
  • Holds a valid driving licence and has access to their own vehicle (business insurance required for work‑related travel)
Working Pattern
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Weekend availability required on a rotational basis
  • Participation in an out‑of‑hours on‑call rota
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driving licence and access to a car for business purposes
