£25,467 per annum pro rata based on a 39 hour week

Autism Initiatives is a registered charity providing specialist autism services tailored to each individual. We are seeking friendly and dedicated Support Workers to join us at our new Birchlea Community Resource Centre and Outreach Hub based in Netherley, Liverpool. The Centre offers a flexible, seven‑day‑a‑week support service designed to meet the diverse needs of autistic individuals and their families.

We are looking for people who would be interested in making a difference to the lives of adult autistic people. Ideally you would have a background or understanding of supporting people with autism, but if not, we have great training and a friendly team to support you every step of the way. We have full‑time and part‑time positions available due to our growing services, and we are also happy to talk about flexible working arrangements that might suit you.

You will support autistic adults in a safe, supportive environment that offers a wide range of bespoke activities, resources and opportunities for social interaction and skill development. You will deliver personalised support tailored to individual needs, encouraging community access and participation in activities of their choice. The Resource Centre also offers flexible respite options for families and caregivers and provides specialised support to assist young people in developing life skills.
