Overview

Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.

Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Would you like to join our growing team of volunteers, and make a real difference?

Responsibilities

Join our Team as a Volunteer!

Volunteering with Change Grow Live is a great way to make a real difference in people’s lives whilst gaining valuable experience. Whether you want to give back to your community, develop new skills, or meet like-minded people, there are plenty of reasons to get involved.

At Change Grow Live you will be working with people to support change and the direction of their life, to grow as an individual, and to live life to its full potential.

As a Criminal Justice Recovery support volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with CGL Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinators and the probation service.

You will be assisting Recovery Coordinators in their caseload management, supporting the service user through all aspects of their treatment journey, community order or licence conditions. This can include completing assessments, risk management plans, support in facilitating groups and undertaking one to one work.

The service will also be working directly with prisons and providing a ‘through the gate’ service for clients who are being released.

This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of working within both the substance misuse and the criminal justice fields. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role. This is a rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of others.

We are committed to creating an environment that respects and values diversity, with a positive and supportive culture where everyone feels welcome, empowered, and represented.

We believe that having diverse people working as part of our team makes us the organisation that we are.

We actively encourage applications from people from all backgrounds to help us to provide the best possible experience for the people who use our services.

The safety of vulnerable children, young people and adults is our absolute priority.
