Qualified Social Worker needed for our MASH Team in Newham paying £39 ph!

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a dynamic Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safeguarding professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident making timely decisions to safeguard children and vulnerable adults.

Working within a highly collaborative multi‑agency setting, you will play a key role in screening referrals, assessing risk, and ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.

As a Senior Social Worker within MASH, you will:

• Manage approximately 8–10 contacts per day
  , primarily Amber contacts and occasionally Green contacts.
• Undertake timely screening, information gathering, and risk assessments for incoming safeguarding referrals.
• Make informed threshold decisions in partnership with multi‑agency colleagues.
• Support the Team Manager by undertaking delegated management responsibilities when required.
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective information sharing and safeguarding practice.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records.
• Deliver high-quality decision‑making within strict statutory timescales.
