We are looking for a Support Worker to join our Vocational Services team, supporting people with disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, neurodiverse conditions, mental health challenges and a range of complex life circumstances to achieve their employment goals.
Unlike many support worker roles, this position is typically delivered between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, offering greater consistency and work-life balance. Flexibility will occasionally be required to meet the needs of the people we support, which may include some evening or weekend working.

As a Support Worker within Vocational Services, you'll provide person-centred employment support to individuals who face barriers to finding and sustaining work.
You'll work closely with people to identify their strengths, skills and aspirations, helping them take positive steps towards employment, education and training opportunities that align with their goals.
Your Role Will Include- Building positive and trusting relationships with the people you support
- Delivering personalised employment-focused support and coaching
- Supporting individuals with vocational profiling, job searching, CV preparation and interview skills
- Helping people identify their strengths, interests and career ambitions
- Working with employers to create inclusive employment opportunities
- Providing ongoing support to help people sustain employment and achieve positive outcomes
- Collaborating with community organisations, referral partners and other professionals
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting programme outcomes
- Promoting independence, confidence, wellbeing and social inclusion
This is a local office and community-based role, supporting people across the Liverpool City Region. As travel between appointments, employers and community partners is required, you'll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
You don't need previous experience in supported employment to be successful in this role. What matters most is your passion for helping people achieve their goals and your ability to build positive relationships.
