Change Grow Live are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to our service users’ lives, offering support and respect in a safe environment, treating each person as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.
Our core values are 'Be open, be compassionate and be bold', and our team members apply these daily to achieve our mission of helping people change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals and live life to its full potential.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Building Bridges Family Team in Liverpool for a Domestic Abuse Coordinator
. You will work with families where domestic abuse and substance misuse are a feature, helping to reduce risk, build stability and support meaningful, lasting change.
Central to the role is direct work with people who have used abusive behaviours. You will deliver interventions that promote accountability, stabilisation of substance use and a reduction in abusive behaviour, while supporting service users to improve their mental and physical health, parenting capacity and wider whole-person development.
The safety of adult and child victim-survivors will be central to every aspect of the role. You will work alongside specialist domestic abuse workers and services, both internally and externally, as well as other partners, so that risk is identified, managed and reduced, and families can access the right support at the right time.
No two days are the same. This role needs someone who can combine compassion with appropriate challenge; who is flexible, reflective and a confident communicator.
