Senior Embedded / Firmware Engineer - Robotics & Physical AI - £170k

Lumyn is working with a small number of UK-based robotics and physical AI companies in the defence tech, drone autonomy, industrial robotics space, all sub‑50 staff and recently funded.

We are looking for senior embedded / firmware engineers to join at the founding‑tier equity level to spearhead the embedded engineering work end‑to‑end from day one – firmware, hardware integration, and on‑device autonomy alongside the founding team, with real ownership of the technical stack.

• 5+ years senior embedded or firmware experience (STM
  32, FreeRTOS, bare metal C/C++, or embedded Linux on Jetson‑class compute)
• Strong systems background – sensor integration, real‑time control, motor control, autonomy stack, or comms
• UK‑based or willing to relocate to UK;
  British / EU / EEA citizenship for defence‑cleared roles
• Comfortable working at sub‑50‑staff founding teams with meaningful equity
