Front End Developer

Fancy joining a well-established organisation where you'll actually get to shape how junior talent grows, while building great front-end products with React?

We're looking for a Mid-Level Front End Developer to join a busy MI & Application Development team, working alongside a talented junior developer who's sharp technically but still finding their feet when it comes to talking to users and stakeholders. That's where you come in.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building responsive, maintainable front-end applications with React and modern Java Script
• Working with REST APIs, collaborating closely with the back-end team on integration
• Pairing with and mentoring a junior developer — code reviews, guidance, and simply showing them how it's done
• Helping that junior developer grow their confidence talking to users and stakeholders, by modelling how it's done
• Getting stuck into real conversations with business users to turn their needs into practical, well-built UI
• Working within an Agile team (Scrum/Kanban), using Azure Dev Ops

What You'll Bring

Must-haves:

• Solid experience with React (or another modern JS framework, with a willingness to work in React)
• Strong JavaScript/Type Script and HTML5/CSS3
• Comfortable integrating REST APIs
